Alex Reid and Chantelle Houghton have expressed their delight over their 'miracle' pregnancy during an interview on ITV's Daybreak. The reality TV couple were on the verge of attempting a course of IVF treatment when they discovered that they were pregnant.
Former glamour model and winner of Celebrity Big Brother Chantelle said, "I'd lost all hope so my only route was to go through IVF. And we were literally about to start. We had the injections in the fridge when obviously the time of the month didn't appear for me, and I ended up doing a test and I was pregnant. I could not believe it! I was in absolute shock."
Her cage fighter fiance Alex said "I believe in miracles."
Then Chantelle added, "Alex said that the whole way and it used to upset me because I had cut it off in my mind. It was like, 'That's it, I can't have children,' and Alex always believed in it."
No doubt the pregnancy will come as a blow to Alex Reid's ex wife Katie Price who claims that the couple's relationship broke down following two failed rounds of IVF.
