Amanda Holden is celebrating the arrival of the latest edition to her family with her husband Chris Hughes. According to sources, Amanda had been in a "bad way" prior to giving birth, but was admitted to hospital last night where she gave birth to her baby girl and Amanda is now said to be in a "stable condition."
Tragedy struck for Amanda and Chris in February 2011 when Amanda suffered a miscarriage at seven months pregnant, and lost her baby boy. It was Amanda's second miscarriage. In 2006, Amanda gave birth to her daughter Lexi (Alexa Louise Florence), who has just turned 6 this month.
Back in August 2011 when the couple announced their pregnancy, Amanda told press, "I never dreamt it would happen so quickly, so when it did we both decided that we would try not to think about it until I reached the 12-week mark. Now that we have and I know that everything’s fine (you have no idea how many scans I’ve had), I feel like we can really enjoy it."
