He is well known for playing a vast array of strange yet delightfully eccentric characters and now Johnny Depp stars as a vampire in Tim Burton's latest movie 'Dark Shadows.' 48 year old Depp plays a character called Barnabas Collins in his 8th movie with Burton.
The film will based on the sixties soap opera with the same name. Director Tim Burton explains, "We're changing it a little bit. I wouldn't do it if it felt like it was just doing the same thing. For me, it's about trying to go back to the original drawings and kind of capture that spirit a little bit more of what the drawings are. It feels different even though it's a similar story, but we're kind of expanding it a bit."
Dark Shadows hits cinema screens on May 11th this year and also features Chloe Moretz, Johnny Lee Miller and Helena Bonham Carter...
